Steven saw an opportunity to learn about the US immigration system after relocating to Toronto in 2014. After being hired to work in the Non-Immigrant Visa Unit, he was quickly recognized for his ability to apply facts to the legal requirements for issuance of a visa. His hard work and skill made him a valuable asset the US Department of State and he was permanently assigned to the prestigious E Visa Team.

This is one of two university degrees that Steven holds. The JD is necessary to become a lawyer and the program can only be completed after finishing an undergraduate university degree. It is the highest level of legal education available from any university.
